Finding the Peace in Life
It can seem so easy to just let life flow as it does no matter how uncomfortable it may feel. You become comfortable with the uncomfortable life and believe that is the only way it can be. What if we were to tell you that right now, this very moment, you could have peace? That even with all that is going on in your life you can find the peace you have been looking for?
This is a Truth we are about to tell you and when you can grasp the meaning of this Truth you will be able to live, starting right now, in the peace you are truly looking for. The peace you are looking for is within you at all times and the life that you are living can be greatly affected by how you attain and maintain this peace. It is going to take some work on your end only because you may have found that comfortably uncomfortable rut that you just don’t want to change. Or maybe you’re just too tired to fight for what you want anymore. You don’t have to fight. The peace is within you.
But what is there to fight? This physical life is a gift. Maybe the eyes you see through are physical but your inner eyes observe and learn through everything that you do. Everything (whether it is a positive or seemingly negative situation) is observed, listened to, understood and learned via those inner eyes, and the true self is always at peace.
So how do you find that inner peace when things around you seem to say there is no peace for you? Begin from a quiet space within you. Take a moment to close your eyes and let all the problems of your life just pass by. Don’t hang onto the thoughts that make you feel so unsettled. Just for a moment…just for a moment. When your mind grabs on and says, I’m talking to you!!! Don’t you need to worry about…? tell it, “Later. We’ll do that later. Right now I’m showing you how to have a few moments of pure peace.” As you realize, for those few moments, that you can enjoy peace within you will begin to have more clarity about your own life.
And when you begin to find a few moments of peace within something amazing begins to happen. As you train your logical mind to ‘be still’ you are giving it something to focus on that is a totally positive practice and while it begins to learn to focus on peace your ‘true inner self’ can shine its light within; straight to the connection to the Universe. Remember, the Universe has many names but it is all the same. The one pure light of love that we all come from.
When you make the connection through silence to the Universe you are giving your inner self and the Universe time to connect one on one and through that silent connection you will feel at peace. This is who you really are: the peaceful, observing self that is learning and understanding through this physical life. This self is at all times at peace and understands through the connection to the Universe. Just by spending a few moments a day you will begin to cut through all the seemingly negative conditions of your life and see that you can truly be at peace within.
When you realize and connect to that permanent connection your physical life will begin to reflect the peace you have found. Problems begin to shrink and your perceptions change naturally and without struggle to a more positive way of life. Problems are reduced nothing of consequence. You begin to see the solutions and no longer put undue focus and energy on the problem.
Knowing that you are always an eternal being having a physical experience makes the difference. When you become the one that lets the inner you speak through your physical self, from that peaceful space, you begin to use your inner eyes as easily as your physical eyes. You begin to work in concert with your body and mind and the inner self. This is where the true peace lies in life.
