Deconstruct your issues. What we mean by that is definitely look your issues 'head on' but without all the emotion that is attached to the past. Observe as best as you can and find out what it is that you should learn through your issues and then build on the present. 'Letting go' can only happen when you have come to terms and made peace with the past and issues. The only way to do this is to observe the past without reliving it over and over again. Observe and see what you can do without. Do you really need to rehash your issues over and over again? With the LOA you aren't denying or avoiding issues. You are facing the issues and observing them. By observing them you are able to see what kind of pattern you were in at the time and how to change that pattern NOW. Finding the LOA and recognizing that you are responsible for your reality is empowering because if you were able to create up until now, you now have more 'power' by knowing you can actually focus deliberately and get the life that you really want.

Thanks for your post.
I am a newbie at the LoA and also suffer from depression.
I have had some successes already with the LoA and am very grateful for those.
Lately, as the depression tries to gain strength, I have become more and more fearful of the LoA. When I am depressed, I know I think depressing thoughts. Then I get scared that the LoA will come into effect and make things worse.
I am also concerned that the LoA can become an excuse to practice denial on a grand scale. There are issues I am working through with my therapist. How do I articulate and work through these issues without causing the LoA to attract more of it to myself? I know I cannot simplistically "release" these issues. That would be suppressing them - compounding my depression. At what point does LoA/reframing become damaging because it is denying and avoiding issues?

Ah that's music to my ears. As an Holistic Pracitioner I have seen plenty of people who are always tired and one thing I like to promote is the law of attraction. Undfortunately being always tired and often feeling deprepressed is a really hard place to start from.

I would echo what you said to your readers though, trust in the universe. Also, remember that although it is difficult to understand right now it is possible that there is a bigger reason for this. Maybe you need to make a big change in your life and feeling like this is the only thing to prompt you to do it? It's worth a thought.

Lovely article, I hope lots of people feel it can be of some help :)
